Hello

My name is Trudie and I first picked up a digital camera in 2016.

I realized that when I had the camera in my hand not a lot else mattered, I started looking for the unusual and the obscure.

Who knew barbed wire was so beautiful?

Photography is only a hobby for me and I am continuing to learn by every photograph I take.

My Story

I love to be able to transport the viewer right to the exact place the photograph was captured.

My subjects range from rusted barbed wire to posing fruit, family pets to farm animals. I love capturing flowers from the first bloom to the dried seed head and every stage of life in between.

During lockdown 2020, I took to my local town of Penrith capturing the small businesses in order to promote them. The photographs were kindly printed by @31Squared and exhibited in a local gallery. The prints were then sold and over £1,000 was raised for Hospice at Home.
